Classes

Please note: A one-on-one introduction is required prior to undertaking Clinical Pilates classes and strongly recommended if you are new to Pilates and wish to attend reformer classes. We’d love to make sure that you have a sound foundation of the Pilates basics so you can apply these in classes and get the most out of the method.

Your first session is included in your introduction and can be used for a clinical, a reformer or a motus class.

Clinical Pilates

Our clinical Pilates classes are a tailored solution to your needs and recommended for those who are new to Pilates. Our classes are capped at 5 clients, where each client is given exercises relevant to their goals, requirements and abilities. Clinical Pilates is suited to all – from beginner to athlete, pregnancy to injury prevention and maintenance, we will work with you to ensure your needs are met.

Reformer Pilates

  • 5:1 / 1 hour
  • One-on-one introduction strongly recommended if new to Pilates/have had a long break

We recommend a minimum of a month of clinical Pilates prior to attending reformer classes if you’re new to Pilates. We love to see clients build a solid foundation of core activation and body awareness in clinical classes and then apply it in a class environment with a strong strength focus!
Our reformer classes are a faster-paced dynamic environment where all participants do the same exercises unless any modifications are required. These classes are great for general body maintenance and improving overall conditioning. Our aim is to ensure you work every muscle of the body each class with the same technical focus you would find within the clinical Pilates studio.

Motus

  • 8:1 / 1 hour
  • One-on-one introduction is not required (however clients are welcome to organise a time to brush up on Pilates basics)
  • Sneakers/runners required
  • Please no jewellery or zips
  • Cancellation policy applies
  • Bookings essential

This class takes Pilates principles into the functional fitness realm, incorporating Pilates, TRX, kettlebells, med balls and small equipment to up the cardio levels and challenge the body. Like the reformer class, our aim is to work the entire body over the course of the hour taking the focus from the development of the intrinsic musculature to global muscle development and including cardio. Motus is designed to work in conjunction with our Pilates classes and to up the ante on building better humans.

Privates and Semi-Privates

  • 1:1 and 2:1 / 1 hour
  • One-on-one introduction can be incorporated into the first private if required (or undertaken separately)

Privates and semi-privates are a great way to focus on your goals and needs privately or with a friend, family member or partner as a semi-private. We can work between the clinical Pilates, reformer Pilates or Motus formats over the course of the hour. You may even want a refresher every now and again and wish to use the hour to perfect exercises or spend the time working on challenging ones. Either way, we will work with you and program according to your needs.
